Is it possible for someone from today's generation to have a successful music career?

If you want to make it in rap, you have to hang with black people and get black approval. Still, it's very hard and most black men will never become rappers. Even if you get a hit, you'll just be in debt, prison, killed off, or a laughing stock. All them cars on tv that rappers drive...rented.
